On weekends we all are taking slow, especially in the morning.
So, you’ve done your morning routine exercises and now you can take time for yourself, or your kids or your family, or your friends.
Here’s what you can do in Johannesburg.If you are an active person you can go on one of Canopy Tours (there is one in Magaliesburg 0145350150). Fantastic journey, you’ll be sliding across Ysterhout Cloof, enjoying the view from the height of the mountain. Fresh air, beautiful nature and incredible photos.
You can do Ballon Safari, in Hartbeespoort Dam, Hot Air Balloon safari with Bill Harrop (011-705-32-01). Reservations are essential, make sure you dressed well, because it is cold in the mornings. One of the best views in town. Rub shoulders with famous people. At the end of the month place is packed, make sure you have your reservations done in advance. Enjoy sundowners on the pool deck. View of the city is breathtaking.

Location, location, location! Prices are reasonable. Enjoy it.

If you want to impress your guests take them there. Incredible service, beautiful view, cocktails, seafood. Best sundowners in town.
For a variety, good quality food go to Bright Water Commons in Randburg.
McGuinty Irish Bar.
Very popular, best beer and bar food. Try Salmon salad, will not be disappointed. TV- big screen, rugby, rugby, rugby. On St Patrick’s Day it is packed, as well on all major holidays.
Babylon Again. Greek Restaurant.
Homely atmosphere, food- will leave your guests speechless. One of the best lamb dishes in town. Greek music, fire place- nice in winter. In summer guests are going “wild”, breaking plates (one plate-R5). Good for company dinner.
Ocean Basket.
As always very good, this restaurant is South African favourite. But here you enjoy the view.
Scrooge.
Very good restaurant, survived all the competitions. Very good food, especially seafood. Enjoy the view and service.
